I
love animals and I have been donating a portion of my
profits to an organization that helps animals. I researched
several animal shelters and decided that Animal
Friends for Education and Welfare (AFEW) was the group
for me.
"AFEW
is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that promotes
adoption and proper placement of homeless and domestic
animals through careful screening. They support humane
animal control by spaying and neutering cats and dogs
and encourage others to do so.
AFEW
raises public awareness of animal issues. Its members
work for the passage of legislation supporting animal
welfare. They promote public education to foster respect,
understanding, and compassion for all creatures.
AFEW's
ultimate goal is to build a shelter that will be used
not only to house stray animals, but also to socialize
them so that they can be adopted into caring homes."*
I
am very proud to be able to help out such a wonderful
organization.
